Tersa knives are designed for quick, tool-free changes and lock securely into place by centrifugal force, eliminating the need for manual knife adjustments.

We offer a wide variety of sizes of Tersa blades for use with jointers, planers, and combination machines equipped with Tersa cutterheads. These high-precision knives are available in multiple materials, including HSS (High-Speed Steel), Chrome, M42 and Solid Carbide, ensuring optimal performance across various wood species. They come in 260mm (10"), 300mm (12"), 410mm (16"), 520mm (20"), 630mm (24") length sizes and are sold in pairs (2 per box).

Recommended Uses for the Four Main Tersa Knife Types:

Chrome: Softer, resinous woods prone to pitch build-up. Recommended for Aspen, Douglas-fir, Pine, Poplar, Etc.

HSS: Best for all around use. Recommended for Maple, Cherry, Walnut, Etc.

M42: For tougher applications, less likely to chip the cutting edge than HSS. Recommended for Oak, Ash, Hickory, Etc.

Solid Carbide: Most durable, reduced finish quality. Recommended for Teak, Exotic hardwoods, Laminated woods, dirty materials, glue lines, etc.
