The Stolbek Cosmo SC is a turnkey robotic sanding cell designed to automate sanding operations for cabinet doors, drawer fronts, and wood panels. Equipped with a Yaskawa Motoman GP12 industrial robot, the Cosmo SC performs face sanding, edge sanding, and corner breaking within a single automated system.
The Cosmo SC accommodates a variety of door styles, including Shaker, raised panel, recessed panel, slab, and five-piece cabinet doors. It is capable of sanding flat and profiled surfaces, as well as solid wood, MDF, veneer, primer, sealer, and coated materials.
Operation is simplified through a swipe-to-start interface that eliminates the need for robot programming or barcode scanning. Operators can create, save, and recall sanding recipes to accommodate different materials, door styles, and finishing requirements.
Designed and manufactured in Ontario, Canada, the Cosmo SC provides cabinet manufacturers and woodworking shops with an automated sanding solution for reducing manual labor and increasing production efficiency.
